I think this piece is coming along really beautiful. You always seem to make so much progress.
As to the platinum needles, I use them for the 28 and 32 ct linen pieces where there is very fine work needed. As to the other projects, where you can hardly see any fabric, I usually stitch with cheaper needles. I really notice a difference, but as the platinum ones are rather expensive (and I do loose lots of them), I can’t afford to use them all the time. But if you do not notice a real difference, I would not worry about it. Happy stitching weekend!

Hi Alicia

The q-snap rotates in the holder. It’s held at both sides so it’s secured and then you push or pull the q-snap to spin around to the back of your work. It’s a good system, like the scroll bar holder, it stays tight so there’s no loosening of any wingnuts needed to spin the frame over yet it’s tight enough so that when you’ve got the angle you want to stitch at it will just stay put

Hi Nicola
I love the new toy. I checked the website and yeah it really is exxy but as you love it it’s well worth it. Just a quick question if I may, how do you access the back of your work. Does it twist around or flip up?? The website wasn’t very helpful.

I love all your wips and couch dragaon is looking amazing. The colours are the usual Spangler bright and I can’t wait to see more, lets hope the stitching fairy throws it up again soon! Great idea though for rotations.

Your progress looks great Nicola. You don’t have to worry about details and shades and such, it looks really really nice
I am also stitching a mini and I also worried a little about the detail, but I am sure in the end when stepping back and inspecting the design, it’s going to look just as nice as de “original” and yours already does!

Your new toy looks cool. I saw it on FB. System 4 is quite costly, I think, but I guess it’s worth it?
