My goal for A Stitch In Time this month was to finish page 2. It’s always difficult to gauge how long it will take because I’ll sometimes run into a block of extreme confetti and be having to change threads every stitch or two. At least Pattern Keeper makes it easier to spot where extra stitches of the same colour are lurking.

It took longer than I expected but I got there eventually and was able to move back into page 3. I have already done the first 40 rows or so of pages 3 and 4 as I was moving from the pages in the centre over to page 1. At the moment I’m finding it easier to work down the book spines so I finished the book which straddles page 2 and 3 and I’m probably most of the way through the next book. Page 3 is mostly a page of books with the occasional detail leaf and flower but as page 3 moves into page 4 I start to pick up one of the vignettes which may determine how I work the end of page 3.

One more week remains on this piece this year and I’ll be working on it over Christmas which means that I’ll either have lots of time to work on it or no time to work on it. For that reason I’m not going to set myself any goals on it other than to enjoy my stitching. I’m looking forward to seeing the total number of stitches that I have put in on it this year, I’ll include those details on it’s December update.
