A Stitch In Time – Rotation End

It was my rotation switch this weekend so I thought I’d share an update of where I finished on A Stitch In Time this week.

I’m stitching the regular version of the chart and the 87 colour version rather than going with the max colours.  I started the page above my finished page and the plan is to work the pages around in a clockwise direction so that once I’ve gone the whole way around I’ve got the hoop part finished.

I’d say that this is a challenging piece to stitch, I’ve used over 80 of the 87 colours in just these two pages and there has been a lot of changing colours.  But that all adds to the detail and the colours are so vibrant so I’m really enjoying my stitching and watching the details appear.  For a while that rose looked more like an orange blob but it looks amazing now that it’s finished.

It was back to The Gamer on Saturday and even though I’ve had a busy weekend it feels so much easier because I’m onto a couple of blocks of colour.  Hopefully by the end of the week I’ll have a page finish on that to share.
