I was planning to stitch a little bit of something else before I went back to Whispers, I really wasn’t sure about jumping from one big piece straight to another. In the end once I’d put it back onto the stand and sorted out colours then I couldn’t resist getting started.
It’s been a slow page and probably only to be expected once the finishing buzz went away. But page 29 was full of confetti and it’s been a while since I’ve done a page that needed quite so much concentration. While there was some intensive pages on Computer Catastrophes most of the colours were very different, I have to concentrate a lot more when the colours are various shades of greens, greys and browns. I love how it looks though.
I’ve made myself a new plan now that I’ve cut my number of started pieces and I’ve decided that rather than trying to spread my attention over several pieces I’m just going to spend some time switching between Whispers and QS Arthur working a page on each which will allow me to get Arthur finished about the time that I’m finishing this row on Whispers. We’ll see how well it works but once I’ve had two finishes I may feel that I deserve a new start.
