I’ve finished the first row of pages on Whispers. Seven rows left to stitch which is 49 more pages, finally broken through the 50 page mark. I’m going to carry straight on with the second row. It’s another row of just background and the first page is mostly black I’m not sure that I’m looking forward to stitching the blocks of colour I always seem to be slower stitching them. I’m hoping that I can be finished with the page before the next stitch along week at the beginning of August. I seem to be losing track of the months as they fly by but I am sticking to my target of a page a month on Whispers. If I can make myself concentrate on just stitching her then I might be able to get it finished in less than the five years I’ve estimated.
But focus is going to be difficult to stick to. I’m waiting for a very special chart to arrive, a retired chart that I had almost given up hope on ever being able to stitch. Resisting it will be difficult but I think I might like to take my time stitching it.
